and Social MovementsJennifer Erickson is the founder and Director of the Arts & Culture department at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, where she plays a key role in planning for 101 cities and towns in the Greater Boston area. As Arts & Culture Director, she leads a team of cultural planning, creative placemaking, and public art experts that is engaging in research, planning, and policy work to facilitate a more vibrant, livable, and inclusive metropolitan Boston region. Her planning work has been recognized with awards from the American Planning Association (APA) Massachusetts Chapter and is an artist herself with her own ceramics portfolio.
